Fairway Pool - 2020 Season Announcement - Friday, May 15, 2020

On Monday, May 11th, Fairway City Council affirmed staff's recommendation to not open the Fairway Pool for the 2020 season, while still leaving the possibility of opening the pool later in the summer if health guidelines were to allow. The pool closure cancels all memberships, Super Pass memberships, swim lessons and pool rentals. Full refund checks will be sent for all registrations (typically takes 10-14 days, but may be even longer due to quantity).

If you would like to read the full recommendations from staff, which details the biggest challenges of opening the pool this summer, they can be found on pages 69-74 at the following link:

While we are saddened by the pool closure and the programs that must be closed along with it, we feel that this is a necessary step to insure patron and staff health and well-being. We look forward to seeing you in the 2021 season.
