Homeschool Day

Homeschool Day invites students and families to explore the Mission through hands-on learning, guided activities, and interactive experiences designed especially for homeschoolers. Participants will engage with history in a meaningful way while having some fun too.

Throughout the morning (9am to Noon), students will take part in educator-led rotations, group exploration, and age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity.
Homeschool Day provides a welcoming environment for families to learn together, ask questions, and experience the Mission as an extension of the classroom—bringing history to life through discovery and exploration.
After learning rotations are done, families are invited to stay at the Mission for a picnic lunch, grounds exploration and self-guided tours of the exhibits. Children under 4 are free and one adult per family is free. Additional adults will be $5.

Note:

Learning groups will be formed by Mission staff, by AGE grouping, so entire families may not stay together during the morning due to the rotation-based learning.
